We try our best to present data as accurately as possible. If you see an error or inconsistency, please do not hesitate to inform us at overthecounter@protonmail.ch.
The fundamental data are accurate as of September 6, 2020.
Nothing in this database or our research should be understood as investment advice. Please do your own due diligence before trading in shares featured in the database. The authors of the database may own positions in shares highlighted in the database.
We use the tangible book in order to present a clearer picture of the valuation. The calculation of our tangible book is based on deducting any obvious intangible assets from the book value such as goodwill, intangibles, deferred tax assets etc. We try to be conservative; thus, sometimes, our data could be interpreted as being understated.
You can sort the data in the database using the arrows at the top of each column. Sorting works similarly to Excel; thus, it is preferable to sort text columns before sorting the numerical ones. You can also filter through various ranges of data points. For example, ‘P/TBV’ column can be filtered in the following way; ‘>1’ ‘=1’ ‘<1’.
You can use multiple filters as well as sort functions and combine them with each other.
Sometimes we do not present tangible book data for dark companies. It could be that we do not have any financials or that we do not have the latest batch. Where applicable there is always a link for our repository of dark financials.
In a small number of cases we use the number of shares outstanding from OTCMarkets.com.
